Affordable hotel with indoor and outdoor pool

Hotel with Pool:
Last year when we wanted to go away, I looked for a cheap hotel with an outdoor and indoor pool. Why?
Well we lover to swim, but wont swim at the same time as men are in the same water.
So with two pools, there is more of a chance that one of them will be empty.
It worked BH for us last year.
So I just want to share with you some affordable hotels that have two pools. (Driving distance from Brooklyn.)
Remember always to call before you book to make sure the pool is in use, and not closed for maintenance.

booking.com has great prices for these:

Great outdoor place for kids to play FREE and covered from RAIN/SUN

At pier 2 of the Brooklyn Bridge Park there are a few things to do for kids.

The great part is that it is covered, so you will be dry when it rains, and out of the sun on hot days.
They have nice bathrooms, more then they have at pier 1 and pier 6, so usually no lines.
There are exercise equipment that the kids love, its like toys to them, there are swings, many pick-nick tables, grass fields, and some more.

Too lazy to walk back to the train station? There is a city bus leaving from pier 1, it takes you straight to Boroug Hall train station.

HOTEL - How i found a cheap one

Hotels
Before I go on, let me tell you how I managed to get a cheap hotel. I went to priceline name your own price. I kept on searching in the area I wanted for the cheapest price, if nothing was available for that price I went a little higher. I started with $10, went up to $15 etc. I ended up finding a 2.5 star hotel for $35 a night, that’s a joke. It was a nice hotel, not the most luxurious but we did not need that. We went with 3 kids, we got a free pack and play from the hotel, and the other 2 kids slept on blankets on the floor. They loved it, it was so much fun to sleep on the floor.
Let me give you some links to search for hotel deals.

Some questions you might want to ask Hotels (according to your needs).
Does the room have?
- A fridge?
- Internet access?
- DVD player?
- Free breakfast?
