Scranton, PA
(a trip we did a few years ago)
I would like to share with you our vacation. You can take some ideas from here (why not have a ready planned vacation J )
Most outings where for free or very cheap. We love nature and the kids love to play so we tried to mix both.

Day 1:
Park and playground for kids. It has a picnic area with grill – barbecue option.
It has also a pool and trails. We had a lot of fun there, it was beautiful around the lake. We had a good time there.
It is about 16 minutes drive from Scranton, PA

Day 2:
Games and arcades (+ pizza). Its about 10 minutes drive from Scranton, PA. You buy tokens and enjoy the rides!
Good for rainy days.
Day 3:
This is a very nice park. It has trails, playgrounds and a tree house, beautiful.
It has a pool that is open certain times of the year.

Day 4:
A nice park with outdoor rides, playgrounds and soft play area. Only $5 entrance per child. In or right next to Scranton, PA.
Other attractions:
  • On our way home to Brooklyn, NY, we stopped at Delaware Water Gap park and had there a barbecue and had fun in the water. www.nps.gov/dewa/index.htm
  • Outdoor Family Fun Park in Hawley, PA
